Hello,
I received notice as an abutter of the property seeking variance.
I have written in opposition in the past and I am still opposed to the proposal seeking a drive‐thru. Adding this feature
only increases traffic and multiple car engines idling which adds to increases in noise and air pollution. The close
proximity of the drive thru lane to the immediate abutters appears to be a violation of code as well.
I also feel it will increase the amount of vehicles using our street, Nauhaught Rd as a cut through.
Furthermore, I’ve never seen a line for gas at this location so I’m confused as to why they would need 2 additional
dispensers.
I have friends and family that often travel to Cape Cod from Texas, Kansas, Santa Monica and Monterey Calif. The
attraction to travel 3000 miles is the charm of ‘Old Cape Cod’, NOT gas pumps, drive‐thru’s , and obnoxious bright
canopies.
This project in no way should be considered as being inline with ROAD principles or provisions.
Thank you,
M. Kelly
