PROJECT IS FOR ABASEMENT REMODEL. IN ORDER TO MEET CODE WE ARE REPLACING A
CASEMENT WINDOW IN THE WALKOUT TO MAKE IT MEET EGRESS. ALSO REPLACED WILL BE A
DOOR WILL BE SIMILAR IN STYLE. THE WINDOW AND THIS DOOR CANNOT BE SEEN FROM A
ROAD OR PUBLIC WAY AS IT IS IN THE FOUNDATION OF A HOUSE THAT SITS HIGH ON A HILL
OFF A LONG DRIVEWAY ( SEE PHOTOS OF BEFORE) CASEMENT WILL BE AS EXISTING A
CASEMENT SLDERSON 400 SERIES WHITE WITH GRILLS AND THE DOOR IS A THERMA TRU SS 6
PANEL.

1. 1 did get these photos of the existing window and door close up in color
2. 1 had Lansing (formally Harvey window company) send me clear specs

3. 1 resent the photos from the street which you can see the door and the window
4. 1 resent the site plan showing area of work
The window is almost the same except a bit larger and opens for ventilation and light
the door is exactly the same by therma tru Door company and in the same material and color
If you want i can fill out (and most likely will over the weekend if I do not hear from you.) the full application and get on
the agenda

OLD KING'S HIGHWAY HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMITTEE
WAIVER OF 45-DAY DETERMINATION
The applicant/applicant's agent understands and agrees that due to the current declared National
and State public health emergencies the determination of our Application for a Certificate of
Appropriateness/Demolition/Exemption may not be made within 45 days of the filing of such
application.
The applicant agrees to extend the time frame within which a determination is to be made as
required by the Old King's Highway Regional Historic District Act.
SECTION 9 -Meetings, Hearings, Tinre for Making Determinations
"As soon as convenient after such public hearing; but in any event within forty-five (45) days
after the filing of application, or within such further time as the applicant shall allow in writing,
the Committee shall make a determination on the application. -
Applicant understands that the review of this application will be scheduled as soon as the
situation allows.
