First Floor Demolition Notes
1. Make safe electrical prior to demolition.
2. Demolish and dispose of door and frame.
3. Remove and dispose of sheetrock on entry side of the garage wall.
4. Remove and dispose of window.
5. Remove and dispose of wall for new T-W door from existing bathroom to new
addition.
6. Remove and dispose of wall for access to pantry in new apartment.
7. Demolish and dispose of all dotted wall sections. Repair ceilings as required in for
re -use.
8. Remove and dispose of existing roof section over entry and a portion of the living
room.
Brace remaining walls as required until new framing and roof are installed.

First Floor New Construction Notes
1. General Note: All new exterior wall framing to be 2»x6" construction.
2. Furnish and install pair of new 2'-6" doors - style by owner.
3. Furnish and install new barn door and track at 3'-0" opening - style by owner.
4. Furnish and install new Pella exterior 3'-On x 6'-8" door with 1'-0" side lights.
5. Extend existing bulkhead from grade to new first floor height and install new doors.
6. Furnish and install new Pella French doors (double acting) - each door 2'-6" x 6'-8".
7. Furnish and install new fireplace - style and model by owner.
8. Construct new footing and foundation system under new addition. Footings shall be
20" wide x 10" thick at 4'-0" minimum below grade. Foundation wall shall be 8" wide
with 5/8" anchor bolts at 36" on center.

2. Center new window below the window in the attic — see south elevation.
3. Remove and dispose of window in existing fagade — fame and close opening.
4. Remove and dispose of existing door and framing for new corridor.
5. Remove existing framing on the east wall of the bathroom and re -frame wall with
2"x6" studs to a height of 8'-0" for new dormer.
6. Remove ceiling joists and rafters above bathroom and re -frame new dormer.
7. Furnish and install new pair of 2'-6" doors — style by owner.
8. Furnish and install new 3-0" door — style by owner.
