Good morning, I just spoke to you about the following. My contractor Trevor Myer and myself have been trying to reach
Bruce Murphy concerning questions he had on the plan I submitted to him for a septic installation. The plan was
submitted about three weeks ago and Bruce had some guestions on elevations for the crawl space for a new addition in
relation to septic system. Bruce has received a couple of emails from the contractor and his contact number but he has
not got a response from him. I understand that Bruce is very busy but unfortunately I cannot move forward until the
plan is approved. I would appreciate it if you could bring this to his attention so he and my contractor can go over his
concerns so the plan can be approved. My contractors info is,tmeyer@meyerandsons.com

Hi Ansley,
I have reviewed the septic plan for the above location and need the following revisions/additions:
-Label the depth of the tank, correct the depth of the outlet tee.
-Show covers to grade over the tee filter and the pump.
-Show second weep hole in low point of pipe leaving pump chamber. ,
-Label the tee in the d-box.
-Label the 5'overdig on plan view.
- Note tank to be factory waterproofed.
-Add note that engineer to inspect and certify.''
- Instead of using full adjustment and asking for a variance from groundwater, vary the adjustment 1 foot and
show the SAS 5'above. It doesn't change the design but this way we can approve"in-house".
-Could you provide information on the existing/proposed foundation? The foundation for the addition should be a
slab within 20' of the SAS.
-Could you provide existing/proposed floor plans, I assume that you are not increasing bedrooms.
With the above information/revisions we should be able to approve this without a Hearing.
Thank you,
Stephen Haas

Subject: 45 Cedar Street Septic/foundation plan.
Hi Mike,
I just spoke with your builder Trevor about the issue with the septic/foundation setback. He said he would be
submitting a foundation plan with a flood compliant design that would most likely solve the setback issue with the septic
system.
Call or e-mail if you have any questions and I look forward to reviewing the final plans.
