The type and height of the fence determine whether it can be processed as an exemption. A fence that's over 4 feet high requires a Certificate of Appropriateness. If you're looking at a six foot stockade fence, that would require a Certificate of Appropriateness. Hope that helps — let me know if you have any questions.
