Route 28 in Yarmouth will never be confused with Main Street in Chatham, or Bradford Street in Provincetown —Our main -drag is mix of blighted buildings, shuttered seasonal businesses, water views and modern retail... we even boast of a Concrete elephant named Tommy... Route 28 also is home to 80' structures, and those haven't been complained about -- so a 110 foot monopole will neither hurt nor help, the visual anomalies of our business corridor. Lest we forget Yarmouth has a 276 foot tower in a residential zone — and that edifice has not hurt the community, nor the real estate values in the region— In fact, about 16 years ago, when Qantum Communications LLC moved the WXTK studios to Barnstable Road, they sold the property.... If you drive by our former offices on South Sea Ave — you'll notice not one, but two new large scale homes — as the studios were torn down, and the property subdivided... So resident's clearly don't have an issue having 270 foot towers as neighbors. In summation — Yarmouth is one of the Cape's larger towns, and to provide effective communication services, in an efficient manner -- means you need to go skyward -- height gives the signal reach and gain; I again ask the Commission look at the needed upgraded communication capabilities this monopole will provide and okay its construction on the grounds of the Catholic Church, and within our business corridor. Thank you.
