GENERAL NOTES:
1. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL REQUIREMENTS
OUTLINED IN MASSAC1 USETTS BUILDING CODE 9TH EDITION, 2018 IECC
(INTERNATIONAL ENERGY CONSERVATION CODE) AND ASHRAE 90.1-2013
AND ALL MUNICIPAL CODES AND ORDINANCES, AND ALL STRUCTURAL,
ELECTRICAL, AND MECHANICAL WORK SHALL COMPLY WITH GOVERNING
CODES AS ADMINISTERED BY MUNICIPAL BUILDING OFFICIALS AND SHALL
BE CONSIDERED AS PART OF THESE CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS.
2. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL INVESTIGATE AND VERIFY ALL
DIMENSIONS AND EXISTING CONDITIONS.
3. ALL CON 1RACTORS AND SUB -CONTRACTORS SHALL CARRY INSURANCE
AS WILL PROTECT THE OWNER FROM CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES AND
PERSONAL INJURIES WHICH MAY ARISE IN CONNECTION WITH THIS
PROJECT.
4. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL EQUIPMENT, LABOR, AND MATERIALS
NECESSARY FOR THE PROPER EXECUTION AND COMPLETION OF THE
WORK IN ACCORDANCE WITH THESE PLANS.
5. DRAWINGS .ARE NOT TO BE SCALED. NOTIFY THIS OFFICE OF ANY
DIMENSIONAL DISCREPANCIES.
6. DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS AND OTHER DOCUMENTS PREPARED BY THE
ARCHITECT FOR THIS PROJECT ARE FOR USE SOLELY WITH RESPECT TO
TINS PROJECT, AND THE ARCHITECT SHALL BE DEEMED THE AUTHOR OF
THE DOCUMENTS AND SHALL RETAIN ALL COMMON LAW, STATUTORY
AND OTHER. RESERVED RIGHTS, INCLUDING COPYRIGHT. THE ARCHITECT'S
DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS AND OTHER DOCUMENTS SHALL NOT BE
USED BY THE OWNER OR OTHERS ON OTHER PROJECTS.
7. THE ARCHITECT AND ARCHITECT'S CONSULTANTS SHALL HAVE NO
RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE DISCOVERY, PRESENCE, HANDLING, REMOVAL
OR DISPOSAL OF OR EXPOSURE OF PERSONS TO TOXIC OR HAZARDOUS
MATERIALS IN ANY FORM AT THE PROJECT SITE.
8. ANY SUBSTITUTION OF MATERIALS OR METHODS SHALL BE APPROVED BY
THE ARCHITECT.
9. ARCHITECT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR CHANGES TO PLANS OR DESIGN BY
OTHERS.
