The original design of this garage called for a window on the left elevation, but due to
building codes requirements, not allowed to have a window on a wall that close to the
property line. Erik Tolley is requesting an amendment to the original design to eliminate that
window.

Please see attached.
If you look at the left elevation on the first page, OKH approved 12.12.2022, you can see that we have a window on the
second floor of this new garage.
Due to the building code's requirement for structures that are close to a property line, in this instance we are 1.9' from
the south property line on this side, we cannot have any openings (windows) in that one wall for fire protection reasons
(section 302 of the Residential Building Code).
I would like to ask for a minor modification to remove that window as shown on the second page that has the note
Revised 03.31.2023.
Please let me know if you require any further information or if this can be handled by the Chair administratively.
