GENERAL NOTE5
1. THESE DRAWING5 AND ALL ASPECTS OF THE PROJECT SHALL COMPLY WITH THE IRC 2015 AND 760-MA AMENDMENTS TO THE IBC AS WELL A5
ANY TOWN AMENDMENT5 OF BI- LA1/45, LIFE SAFETY, PLUMBING AND ELECTRIC CODES. IF ANY CONFLICTS 15 FOUND, NOTIFY THE DESIGNER
IMMEDIATELY.
2. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SECURING ALL PERMITS NECESSARY FOR THE COMPLETION OF WORK.
5. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONSTRUGTION OF THE DIMENSIONAL REQUIREMENTS BETWEEN THE WORK
OF REQUIRED TRADES / SUBCONTRACTORS.
4. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY EX15TING CONDITIONS PRIOR TO 5TARTING WORK INCLUDING ALL DIMENSIONS, GRADE,
PROPERTY LINES, EXI5TING BUILDINGS, AND NEW WORK. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL LAYOUT IN THE FIELD THE ENTIRE WORK TO BE
PERFORMED TO VERIFY DIMEN51ONAL RELATION5HIP5. THE ARCHITECT SHALL BE NOTIFIED OF ANY VARIATIONS FROM INFORMATION
PROVIDED IN THE DRAWINGS.
5. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RE5PON51BLE FOR ANY VARIATIONS OR DEVIATIONS FROM THE PLANS WITHOUT WRITTEN CONFIRMATION FROM THE
DESIGNER. THE CONTRACTOR MUST SUBMIT AND PROP05ED CHANGES IN WRITING AND PROVIDE ADEQUATE TIME FOR REVIEW BY THE
DESIGNER FOR THE PROP05ED CHANGES OR REQUESTS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
6. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ANY ITEMS REQUIRED BY CODE OR THE PROPER INSTALLATION, FUNCTION, OR COMPLETION OF AN A55EMBLY
REGARDLE55 IF SAID ITEM5 15 SHOWN OR NOT. SUBCONTRACTORS SHALL INFORM THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR OF THE REQUIREMENTS FOR
THE WORK REQUIRED BY OTHER TRADES PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL OF FINAL BIDS.
I. THE DESIGNER CANNOT ACCEPT RE5PON51BILITY FOR THE 5PEGIFIG QUANTITIES OR QUALITIES L15TED HEREIN. IT 15 THE RE5PON515ILITY OF
THE CONTRACTOR TO REVIEW THESE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENT5 AND CONFIRM THE SUITABILITY OF THE HOUSE FOR PARTICULAR
BUILDING SITE.
8. IN ADDITION TO THE ITEMS L15TED THE OWNER SHOULD SELECT FIN15H MATERIALS SUCH AS COLOR AND TYPES OF PAINTS, STAINS, TILE,
CABINETS, COUNTERTOPS AND LIGHT AND PLUMBING FIXTURES, AL50 TO BE CON51DERED ARE THE HEATING/COOLING SYSTEMS, WIRING,
PLUMBING AND EXTERIOR 51TE WORK.
9. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ADEQUATE BRACING OR OTHERWISE SUPPORT ALL PORTIONS OF THE STRUCTURE UNTIL ALL MEMBERS HAVE
BEEN PERMANENTLY CONNECTED TOGETHER. PLUMBING DIAGRAMS OR DRAWING5 SHALL BE PROVIDED BY THE PLUMBING CONTRACTOR.
HEATING/COOLING DUCT DIAGRAMS OR DRAWING5 SHALL BE PROVIDED BY THE HEATING/COOLING CONTRACTOR. HEAT L055 OR ENERGY
CALCULATIONS SHALL BE PROVIDED BY THE HEATING/COOLING CONTRACTOR OR THE PROFESSIONAL AS REQUIRED BY THE BUILDING
OFFICIAL. TRU55 DESIGN, ENGINEERING AND PLANS SHALL BE BY THE TRU55 MANUFACTURER.
10. ANY SPECIFIC, CONNECTORS OR STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS MAY BE 5UB5TITUTED WITH WRITTEN PERM155ION BY THE STRUCTURAL ENGINEER.
