MEMORANDUM TO FILE
PETITION #4883

MEMBERS PRESENT AND VOTING: Chairman Steven DeYoung, John Mantoni, Jay
Fraprie, Richard Martin.
Relief was previously obtained from the Board of Appeals in Petition #4883 (March 2021) to
expand the existing automotive repair facility at the combined site, to include the construction of
a new 5,250 sf service building, removal of 2 smaller outbuildings, reconfiguration of site access,
expand parking and drive aisles, utility improvements and landscaping.
The reason for the extension is an increased flooding issue in front of the petitioner's property
which has interrupted his business. While the petitioner is seeking different solutions, before he
invests in the project, he needs to be assured that this problem will not affect the proposal.
A motion was made by Mr. Fraprie and seconded by Mr. Martin to extend the Special Permit for
24 months. On a roll call vote (4-0), the request to extend the Special Permit for 24 months was
approved.
