GENERAL STRUCTURAL NOTES:

2. THE SCOPE OF THE DESIGN SHOWN ON THESE PLANS IS TO PROVIDE A NEW ADDITION TO THE EXISTING RESIDENCE THE DESIGN SHOWN HEREON, IS BASED ON THE PROJECT NOT BEING DEED

THE REQUIREMENTS OF 2009 IRC SEC. R322'FLOOD RESISTANT CONSTRUCTION', ARE NOT APPLICABLE.
3. THE DESIGN DOES NOT INCLUDE PROVISIONS FOR RETROFITTING THE EXISTING BUILDING TO RESIST THE CODE PRESCRIBED WIND LOADS THAT ARE APPLICABLE BASED ON THE BUILDING CODE
REQUIREMENTS REFERENCED IN ITEM Y' ABOVE. THE STRUCTURAL RETROFIT FRAMING IS DESIGNED TO SUPPORT THE APPLICABLE CODE PRESCRIBED GRAVITY LOADS., AND TS NOT PART CF THE

4. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING ALL APPROVALS AND PERMITS PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION.
5. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CONTACTING THE LOCAL BUILDING OFFICIAL FOR ALL REQUIRED STRUCTURAL INSPECTKWS). IF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL REQUI ES TFIAT THE
INSPECTION(S) BE COMPLETED BY THE ENGINEER OF RECORD,. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CONTACT THE ENGINEER OF RECORD 24 HOURS PRIOR TO THE TIME WHEN THE IINWTOMP IS TO BE
PERFORMED. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL INSURE THAT ALL STRUCTURAL MEMBERS AND CONNECTIONS ARE VISIBLE FOR INSPECTION. IF DURING THE INSPECTION, ANY PORTIOM OF THE SYAiYCTURE
