To Whom it may concern:
We are the owners of Crowell Beach and, by court decree, share the beach with 20 other families and,
by extension, another 75 families who have easement rights to enjoy the beach. We wholeheartedly
support the application in front of the board that CBA has petitioned regarding long term maintenance
of the stream that is currently eroding not only the beach and flushing into the bay but, also, eroding our
stone embankment jeopardizing our land at 138 Crowell Road. It is a shame that the previous owners,
Weypet LLC did not enforce the stream maintenance plan previously approved in 2010, which allowed
for dredging maintenance. In concert with CBA we believe the plan in consideration tonight is a good
long-term plan that both CBA and ourselves believe will keep the marsh land flushing and mitigate any
further erosion of the beach and our land.
