I am writing these comments on behalf of my husband Peter and I. We are residents of West Yarmouth. Our address is:
91 Tanglewood Dr., W. Yarmouth, MA 02673
In reference to the 5019 petition above, I am writing to express our opposition and concerns regarding the Go -Cart
venue planned for the former old China Blossom location. We are very worried that this business will add lots of noise
that will carry across the water and those small parks nearby. in addition, it will be open long hours, affecting traffic and
in general not improving the quality of our lives. An approval of this appeal may also set a precedence for other similar
development that may not be desirable near residential areas. Our home has been in the neighborhood and in our
family for over 50 years.0ur neighbors and we are most interested in keeping this area family friendly and peaceful.
Please deny this appeal application to our zoning board. If another location can be found that will not impact the traffic
on Route 28 and the nearby area we would be willing to consider this other proposal..We know there is a public
hearing on June 22, 2023., However, we are away and unable to attend. We trust you will forward our comments to the
Zoning Board of Appeals.
