The top is currently a rubber roof that connects to the back wall of the current living room. Our home is located at the end of a private road with no visibility from the street. The bedroom and bathroom we plan to add on is behind our house which is also not visible_ Those rooms will be replacing one bedroom located in the front and bathroom off the kitchen which will allow for more space in our current home. With respect to your committee, we feel that this change and update to our home does not affect any historic guidelines you may have for compliance.
