Dear Ms. DiRienzo,
We have reviewed the site plan for the above project. We appreciate the wall that Down Cape
Engineering proposed adjacent to the undermined section of our wall. Since our wall is
designed to have the bottom course of each wood tie buried, we respectfully request that the
site plan show compacted fill to be added between the proposed wall and our wall. (see sketch
attached)
Please also note on the sketch some walls in the flood zone are over 2' in height. We are also
concerned about the height of walls in the interior because fill has been added. Have these
walls been referred to the Building lnspector for possible ZBA action?
As abutters to the above property we were shocked at the almost total amount of vegetation
removed. We are also shocked at the amount of hardscape installed. We believe that had the
occupants actually filed for permission from Conservation in advance, the Commission would
not have allowed this.
