Thanks Mark. Sorry I need some clarification -To me (as a surveyor and not a builder) a party wall always meant a
common wall with another building. In this case does it mean the wall has to be more fire resistant but still allowed to
be 6'

Hi Kieran,
Thanks for your patience.
Using a 1946 zoning bylaw and based on other information I have available setbacks are as follows:
Front—30' or average of lots next there to, or 30%of the depth of the lot.
Side—6' providing a "party wall" is provided. Building Code will apply regarding rating of wall.
Rear—20'
