Thanks Mark. Sorry I need some clarification -To me (as a surveyor and not a builder) a party wall always meant a common wall with another building. Using a 1946 zoning bylaw and based on other information I have available setbacks are as follows: Front—30' or average of lots next there to, or 30%of the depth of the lot. Side—6' providing a "party wall" is provided. Building Code will apply regarding rating of wall. Rear—20' If you have any questions let me know.
