Based on the as-built card information,the sewage system was installed in 1996 under Permit 96-11. The system consisted of a 1,500 gallon septic tank, a 1,000 gallon pump chamber, a distribution box and a leach galley of five(5)flow diffusers with stone. The capacity of the 48'x 12'x 1'leaching galley is approximately Vt=[(48x12)+(12x1)2+(48x1)2] x 0.74 gpd/sf=515 gpd. The value of 515 gpd is further reflected in the sizing of the septic tank, 1,030 gallons required (515 gpd x 200%)and a 1,500 gallon tank was installed.
