50 Park Avenue — Demolition Request
On April 29, 2022 The Yarmouth Historical Commission assembled and considered the above referenced
property due to a request to demolish. The intended purpose of the total demolition is to enable
construction of a new home.
A Notice of Intent to Demolish A Historic Building form was filed with the Yarmouth Historical
Commission on March 31, 2022 by Pine Cone Construction on behalf of Ates Civitci, Elizabeth Civitci,
and Scott Schumacher, the owner of the property. This application was considered by the Yarmouth
Historical Commission at their meetings on April 14, 2022, and April 29, 2022. While noting that the
house was over 75 years old, the Commission agreed unanimously that the structure is not historically
significant. Accordingly, the applicant can proceed with demolition.
