Yarmouth. On July 20, 2020, with a quorum present, the Commission members conducted a site visit at which the owners explained the reason for the demolition and their plans to rebuild. The owners also expressed their desire to try and salvage a few items to be incorporates into the rebuild if possible. (I.e. original beams, a large picture window and a couple of mill stones). The Commission voted unanimously in their decision that this building is significant because of its age, however since it has been altered and there are only a few beams and joists that are original, they agree that in is current state, the building does not hold enough significance to warrant a demolition delay. Therefore, the Commission agreed that the full demolition of this building should be allowed to move forward as proposed. Thank you.
