Good morning, Jim---
I apologize for not getting back to you right after the Historical Commission's meeting last week,
but I was administering both of my committees, as well as the Board of Appeals during its
secretary's vacation. It was quite a week!
The Commission accepted your decision not to act on your demolition request and to renovate
the 9 Homer Avenue house instead. The original approval regarding the rear ells and the front
second -floor dormer still stand. The Commission voted to have you put your decision regarding
the demolition request in writing and to follow up with the Commission by presenting your
exterior renovation plans when the elevations, etc. are ready. They would appreciate receiving
your letter regarding your decision not to demolish as soon as possible.
Please let me know if you have any questions or problems with these requests. On my part, I would
appreciate your giving me a rough estimate regarding when your renovation plans might be ready for
Historical Commission review.
Thank you,
Colleen
