Horne Subject: 244 Pleasant Street-- proposal fo new foundation Attachments: 244 pleasant- prop Card.pdf, 244 Pleasant St. -Site Plan.PDF; 244 Pleasant -Property Map.pdf Hi all - It's been a busy week in the YHC office. John Richards came by with a proposed project for one of the buildings located at 244 & 246 Pleasant St, which is located in the SY Historic District. Building #244 (a 1954 cottage further back on the property) is proposed to be lifted, rotated slightly and a new foundation poured. No other alterations to the house. John has been communicating with the Building Department and has received the required approval from the Board of Appeals. I don't believe that this proposal requires a formal approval letter from the YHC because the cottage itself is not going to be altered, just moved ever so slightly. Since John was in the office, I took it upon myself to initial the Building Permit sign -off sheet on behalf of the YHC. However, there are still a few more department sign -offs John needs before submitting for a Building permit, so if anyone has any issues or questions, please let me know ASAP. There is still time to invite John to next week's meeting if need be. I've attached the following items for your review: • Assessors Property Card • Assessors Property Map • Site Plan showing existing and proposed location of the cottage. I am familiar with the property since I know the former owner. Both the house and the cottage are small but appealing.
