SUBJECT: 497 Route 28, West Yarmouth: Demolition
On September 11, 2020, the Yarmouth Historical Commission met on site to tour and consider the
above referenced property in anticipation of a request to demolish. The intended purpose of the
demolition is to enable construction of multi -family housing. The demolition permit application
was filed with the Building Department on September 3, 2020.
After touring the property and reviewing application materials provided by the applicant, the
Commission voted unanimously that they did not consider the structures to be demolished
significant, and that the applicant could proceed with demolition.
