This vote was based on the materials presented to the Commission during a site visit which took place on March 14, 2016. During this visit, it was determined that only the original half -Cape portion of the house is significant because of its architecture. The portions being proposed for demolition are later additions that do not hold any significance, architecturally or otherwise. Also, please note that the Historic Commission was supportive of the rebuild plans that were presented which appropriately showcase the half -cape amongst the rest of the new structure. Cc: YHC File
