A site visit is scheduled for 11:00am this Wednesday, September 16th at 188 Berry Ave. Mr. Stephen Hetzel, from Lewis Bay
Builders, will be guiding the Yarmouth Historical Commission on a tour of the garage and the house. The purpose of this
visit is:
1. to determine whether or not the garage, which is being proposed for demolition, is a "significant" structure.
and
2. to determine whether or not the house, which is being proposed for renovations, is a "significant" structure.
If either structure is deemed to be "significant", the Commission must then review and make a determination of the
proposed changes to insure that they are in keeping with the architecture of the existing structure and would not be
detrimental to the architectural and historical integrity of the home.
Please let me know by end of day tomorrow, (Tuesday) if you will be attending this visit. Also, anyone wanting to carpool
should let me know so we don't leave anyone behind.
Also, I posted an Agenda for this site visit just in case there is a quorum.
