Minor changes include alterations that can be done without a detrimental impact on the overall appearance of the project such as altering a single window or door change or a minor change of colors. All minor changes by amendment will require the local Committee's or its designee's approval. All changes to previously OKH approved plans require notification to and approval from the local OKH Committee. This old Cape Cod house which dates back to the early nineteenth century is a classic example of the Half -cape house with original wainscoting, antique doors and latches, and 24 inch wide floorboards. This gem of a house formerly belonged to Miss Phoebe Taylor with a plaque over the front door announcing it as "Phoebe's House," designed, crafted, and painted for her by friend Herbert Senn, internationally known set designer for Broadway, Boston Ballet and Opera, and Cape Playhouse. Unfortunately this sign disappeared within the past two years. The three fireplaces in this antique home lend themselves to the charm of the old Cape and as a frequent visitor to this house when Sally White inherited it from Phoebe Taylor, the fireplaces always were in use.
