Hello Members of the Conservation Commission,
My name is Erik Moore and I am the homeowner at 26 Glenwood Street.I wanted to thank you
for considering our family's project in your last meeting and follow-up on the questions you
had. I apologize for not being there in person.
We recently purchased the property at 26 Glenwood St and the debris and yard expansion pre-
date our ownership.We haven't used the home much so far and we haven't modified the home or
property since we bought it.
The natural area behind our home(and the larger Bayview Bog wetland restoration effort)is
very important to us and we share your concern for protecting it.While my kids and I did go into
the area behind our house this summer to clean-up old litter and smaller debris,we were very
careful not to modify or harm the natural area in any way.There is still some additional larger
debris back there from prior owners and years of neglect(concrete bags,old posts,fencing,wood
sheets,metal,etc)that we are planning to remove when we have access to dumpsters for our
home project.Our intention is to fully clean up that area as part of our renovation project.
We are also happy to denote the property boundary between our lot and the hospital's abutting
land to avoid potential confusion.
I look forward to presenting our updated plans that reflect your other requested changes at your
next meeting.I'm also happy to answer any additional questions you may have in the meantime.
