Here is the email from Sarah Korjeff related to the plans shared for 6 Wellfleet. The CCC required that the room that compromised the original historic structure be retained in the new structure. The architect redrew the plans to incorporate the room as requested, and plans were shared to reinforce the historic structure so it could be lifted, removed, and replaced in the new footprint with no damage. The new plans were shared with Sarah Korjeff and updated as requested in her email below. The Yarmouth Historical Commission signed off on the demolition of the non -historic sections of the structure with the caveat that the requests of the CCC be adhered to as the project moves forward. I hope this provides you with what you need; let me know if you need anything else. Rick, Thank you for sending the new set of plans for 6 Wellfleet Ave. I am glad to see that the foundation plan has been modified to match the preserved historic structure's footprint, and that the elevation drawings call out the historic structure. Additional details are needed to ensure the significant historic features of the National Register building are retained: The floor plans should also call out the historic structure, and all plan sheets should specify that its original vertical board exterior siding and trim details will be retained. The notes on sheet A5 to "remove and replace like for like" need further explanation to confirm that only deteriorated materials will be replaced, and that any proposed replacements will be of the same material, dimensions, and details as the existing. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Sincerely, Sarah
