Karen Greene is coordinating the placement of the mill stone. What is your timeline as far as removal/moving of the stone? I will pass this information on and have her contact you. Thanks again for the care and attention you have put forth to try and save this home. This may sound corny, but I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to be part of this process. Not only was this a great learning experience, it's one that I can share and do my part to keep the story of this "Olde House" alive. I am hopping to get my wetland protection in this week & inspected by the conservation commission. My engineer is going to have the wetlands all laid out for me to install the wetland protection by Wednesday of this week. Beth once approved by con com after their site visit, I plan on moving forward with the demo.My guys are cutting out the things that were tagged by the historical commission & we will deliver them to your desiccated location as I stated on our final walk thru last week..My site contractor will move the soap stone front step & also deliver that to your historical mill as well.. We just need to make sure that the town is ready to receive the soap stone as it is extremely heavy & I only intend of moving it once.Beth I am trying to push on all fronts so that we can be 100 % completed/demo/clean up prior to June 15 dead line, as no heavy construction can happen on great island after that date. Please Advise ...
