Re:Amending SE083-2252-Paul&Linda McCarthy,65 Winter St,Yarmouth
Port.Now: 10230 Heritage Bay Blvd.#423,Naples,Florida 34120
Dear Commissioners:
The enclosed plan has been revised for your approval, which includes:
Removal of unpermitted walls and fill in the 35'to 50'buffer
Reducing the pool to 9'-1"x 17'-6"
A proposed 3'-10"retaining wall 50'-6"off wetland
Planting Beds increase by 840 sf
Removing stone from swale and planting native grasses
We ask the commissioners to be aware that while the locus is a 1.27 acre lot,
15,000 sf of wetland is in the middle of the lot. As you may observe the lot
is funnel shaped with much upland wooded and in the rear of the lot.In our
particular case usable rear yard space is at a premium. This places a special
burden on the McCarthy's.
It is my understanding that the plantings proposed in beds B&C will grow
into solid brush in a few years. Would the Commissioner's allow us to plant
native grasses and native wildflowers in beds B&C? As you can see above
we are providing 840 sf of plantings over required amount. Thank you.
Sincerely,
notes04.4._
