RE: 176 Old Main St—unsafe barn
Dear Mr. Weagle,
The Building Department was called to this address on July 14,2023,by the Fire Department relating to a possible
structural issue in the main house. While onsite it was noted that the roof of the barn in back has collapsed in the
middle,and the entire building is now in danger of structural failure. The Building Department has determined this
structure to be unsafe.
This letter is a formal request for the structures located at 176 Old Main St. be secured and made safe.
You are required to respond upon receipt of this letter.Failure to respond may lead to further legal action as allowed
by MGL Ch. 139 & 143.
