I. THIS PLAN IS FOR THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
OF THE SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM ONLY.
2. VERTICAL DATUM IS ASSUMED. FOR BENCH MARKS
SET, SEE SITE PLAN.
3. ALL CONSTRUCTION METHODS AND MATERIALS AND
MAINTENANCE OF THE SEPTIC SYSTEM SHALL
CONFORM TO MASS. D.E.P. TITLE 5 AND LOCAL
BOARD OF HEALTH REGULATIONS.
4. ALL SEPTIC SYSTEM COMPONENTS LOCATED UNDER
AREAS SUBJECT TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC OR GREATER
THAN 3' IN DEPTH SHALL BE CAPABLE OF WITH-
STANDING H-20 WHEEL LOADS.
5. ALL SEWER PIPE SHALL BE SCHEDULE 40 OR
APPROVED EQUAL.
6. SEPTIC TANK AND D-BOX SHALL BE REINFORCED
PRECAST CONCRETE AND WATERTIGHT. D-BOX SHALL
BE WATER TESTED TO CHECK FOR LEVEL WHEN THERE
IS MORE THAN ONE OUTLET.
7. BEFORE CONSTRUCTION CALL 'DIG -SAFE".
1-888-DIG-SAFE AND THE LOCAL WATER DEPT.
FOR LOCATION OF UNDERGROUND UTILITIES.
8. EXISTING CESSPOOLS TO BE PUMPED DRY. REMOVED
IN THE AREA OF THE NEW SYSTEM AND BACKFILLED
WITH CLEAN SAND.
9. EXISTING INVERTS *2 AND *3 ARE TO BE VERIFIED
PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION. ELEVATIONS SHOWN ARE
THE LOWEST POSSIBLE. SHOULD EXISTING INVERTS
BE LOWER. THE WHOLE SYSTEM MAY NEED TO BE
LOWERED. CONTACT THE DESIGN ENGINEER SHOULD
