MEMORANDUM
To: File March 18, 2024
RE: 139 North Main Street
The Building Department was onsite to follow up on a fire above the garage and a possible apartment. There is a
stove in the room above the garage, but it is open to the remainder of the dwelling. The house was built in 1950
and two-families were allowed by right at that time. It is not clear when the cooktop was installed but it is not
recent. There is also a room on the other side of the garage that was not being used at the time of the visit and was
mostly empty of furnishings.
