Dear Ms. DiGennaro:
On October 16,2023,the Board of Health approved the request to allow the existing four bedrooms
to remain a three-bedroom home in a Deeded two bedrooms zone at 142 Captain Small Road,
South Yarmouth, MA.
The following information was presented, reviewed, and approved by the Board:
a. The third bedroom designated on the floor plan as a den;however, is an illegal bedroom
be made to be a den.
b. The third illegal bedroom must have a 5-foot case opening and no longer meet the legal
requirements of a bedroom.
c. The work must be completed within six weeks, with proof showing that the work was
done.
d. All work that requires building, electric, plumbing permits must be properly inspected
and approved.
