I 08.4 There shall be a fee to procure a certificate of registration, rvhich shall be valid for one ( I ) year or to December I I of each ycar, rvhichever is sooner. Thcreafter the permit shall bc annually renewed. 108.5 A pemrit issued under this chapter shall bc rcvokcd if, at any timc, thc liccnsing authorities are satisfied that thc licensee is unfit to hold the license. They may suspend and make inoperative. for such period of time as they may deem proper, the permit mentioned herein fbr any cause deemed satist'actory to them. The revocation and suspension shall not be made until alier invcstjgation and a hearing or after giving thc licensee an opportunity to be heard. Notice ol thc hearing shall be delivered to the permittee not less than three (3) days before the time of the said hearing. 108.6 Any person or tcnant violating any provision ofthis chapter shall be punishcd by a line ofnot morc than two hundrcd dollars ($200.00). Each day's violation constitutes a separate ol'fense. 108.8 The owners of all rcutal units, as defined in 108.2, shall be requircd to certify annually that operating smoke dctcctors have been placcd in the rental unit. The smoke detectors and locations thercof shall be satisfactory to thc l'annouth Fire Department. NOTE: Carbon Monoxide Detectors are required in any dllelling with Oil, Gas, Coal, or rvood-buming equipment and,'or a structurally encloscd or alachcd garage in accordancc with MGL 148, sec. 26F12 and 527CMR3 1.00 MUST BE POSTED ON PREMISES Certificate Number: BHR-23-38001
