A complaint has been received by this office that the above-menlioned property is being utilized as rental
property. We have reviewed the records olthe Yarmouth Health Department and have identified you as
the owner ofthe property above.
ln accordance with Town of Yarmouth General Code, Chapter 108 - Occupancy ofBuildings, it is
mandatory for all rental properties to be registered with the Yarmouth Health Department annually. The
registration fee for each unit is $80 per year.
To ensure compliance, we kindly request that you complete and sign the enclosed registration, providing
all the required information, within 7 days ofreceiving this letter. Altematively, you can conveniently
register online by visiting our website at https://www.yarmouth.ma.us/ I 2T lHea\th and following the
rental registration instructions.
Additionally, an inspection by a health department housing inspector will be required. Please call our
office at 508-398-2231 xl244 to schedule an appointment for the inspection.
Failure to comply with the registration requirements, as stated in $108-2 ofthe Town of yarmouth
Bylaw, can result in a fine ofup to $300 per day, with each day constitutes a separate offense.
