If I am not too late, please pass this along to the zoning board for the meeting tomorrow.
I am writing to express my support for petition #5098. As the former owner of The Barn &
Co, which previously occupied this location for 15+ years, I believe that changing the use
to office space would significantly lower the impact on the neighborhood compared to its
previous use as a retail store.
When I owned and operated The Barn & Co., and lived on the property, I witnessed
firsthand the traffic and activity generated by the business. The store attracted a steady
flow of customers and delivery trucks on a daily basis.
Conversely, an office space would generate much less traffic and activity. Office tenants
typically have regular business hours and fewer, more scheduled visitors compared to
retail establishments.
I truly believe that changing the use to office space would be a positive change for the
neighborhood and I urge the Zoning Board to approve this proposed change.
