We spoke briefly about it when you and your team were here for the BDA test. We would like to start in kitchen and perform the ANSUL test then move to D Building. We will then work from D building to C building, and to B building. At any time you feel the testing is done for the day we can stop and pick up the remaining testing on the next day. We are tentatively planning for 2 days of testing so that we don't have to take your entire day each of those days. I know that you had mentioned that the building inspector would like to be involved with the inspection as well. Commadore Builders will be inviting him. I would like to start each day of testing at approximately 8 am to 9 am.That should give us enough time to conduct a complete test, by day 2. If additional time is required we can discuss this on Thursday, 22 December 2022. Please reply to this email if this plan is to your liking and with your preferred start time and end time each day. I believe that the area, under the stage, is also accessible, but I'm not positive of this fact. Hope it helps. Thank you and have a GREAT Day! K. Mr. Elliott, Here is the certificate you requested. If there is anything else that I can provide to you please let me know. I will be looking for an electrical inspection of B section second floor and two small trenches. I would also like to talk to you about occupancy and temporary occupancy for the school. I know that you are not the one who determines these things, but you are one of the officials who will be looking for certain systems to be completed and tested before giving the OK to the building inspector. I would also like to discuss the process of final inspections for fire alarm, generator, emergency lighting, egress lighting, exit signs, and general finish inspections for the building. Below is a list of some of questions that I would like to discuss: VC Ye' 1. Do you sign-off the fire alarm system with the fire department or is it the fire department only? ozoloi,1 tr-P- 2. Who signs off the egress lighting the building department or electrical? 3. Who signs off the emergency lighting operations for the school? 4. For final inspection/ sign off what documents or other inspections will you need? This is not a complete list of questions, but some of the ones that I have been thinking about. I hope to see you Monday afternoon for the inspection. If you do not have time to discuss the questions, I can wait until you have more time or can come by your office. Please let me know what is more convenient. Mr. Elliott, I know that you are out of the office today, but I wanted to follow up with you on the tentative inspection for tomorrow. If you cannot make it until Tuesday, I would like to give the OK to backfill some site lighting trenches in the area we looked at yesterday.Total feet is approximately 80'—100'.That side of the building is very busy and all the open trenches has restricted access and ability to do other work in that area. The site lighting is only single circuit lighting and involves 8 poles. I know that you gave me the ok to backfill trenches that impede our work, I just wanted to inform you of my intentions. If you come out tomorrow then this is just a formality. If you don't make it until Tuesday, then the trenches will be backfilled and I will still need an inspection for B section, 1st floor north side and B section 2nd floor above ceiling. Hope your arson class was interesting and I hope to see you tomorrow. If I don't see you tomorrow have a good weekend and I'll see you Tuesday. Brian, I know that we have briefly reviewed the plan but I wanted to give you a better picture of what our plan looks like. The first important piece to this plan is the inspection paperwork from the Yarmouth wiring inspector, Mr. Elliott. I have spoken to Mr. Elliott and he has submitted the paperwork and verbally affirmed that the service has passed inspection. Once you have received notification that the service is ready to be energized could you please email me or call me to schedule a time and date of the shutdown. We will then review the timeline based on the schedule you have provided us. We should be ready at that point in to execute the plan on the given date and time. Below is a breakdown of the timeline of our work and your work. It is only planning tool. What may happen in the field may take more or less time. 1. Eversource would have the approved service inspection paperwork prior to scheduling a date. 2. Once the approved inspection has been processed by Eversource, Annese Electric will want to schedule a date and time. 3. 3:00 pm -At a scheduled date at approximately 3 pm Eversource would only need someone to deenergize the transformer by pulling the cutouts. This is because Annese Electric is going to do the terminations. 4. 3:30 pm - Eversource would then unlock the secondary side of the transformer and verify transformer is safe. 1 ' 5. 3:30 pm—6:30 pm -Annese Electric would then start terminating secondaries at transformer. 6. 6:30 pm -Once secondaries are almost completed Annese Electric will call Eversource prior to completing the terminations to coincide with completing the termination and Eversource arriving. 7. 6:30 pm—7:00 pm Eversource would then inspect secondary terminations and, if necessary, check hardware for tightness and torque. 8. 7:00 pm - Eversource would then reenergize transformer. 9. 7:30 pm -Annese will verify voltage and rotation at main breaker 10. 7:45 pm—8:00 pm -Once testing is completed Annese will make service equipment safe and lock main electrical room. 11. 8:00 pm - Eversource would then lock transformer secondary door. 12. 8:00 pm—8:30 pm -Work completed. Once Eversource has verified that the transformer is safe the terminations should take on more than 3 hours. I wanted to give you a basic timeline so that you can inform the service crew of the expected start and completion times. I know that these situations can have unforeseen circumstances happen especially with limited coverage. Once Annese has completed the terminations we will have a limited crew on site until power is restored. I hope that this helps you some and that we can have this shutdown scheduled soon. Good morning Ken, Happy New Year. This is Erminia Rasmussen from 5/7 Judan Way in South Yarmouth. At the end of August all inspections passed on the renovations of our house. Originally the house had two electric meters. Due to the renovations we eliminated one meter. Eversource has the work order from our contractor but in order to close out the account and pick up the old meter that is sitting in the driveway they need to hear from you that all electrical inspections passed. They can't close out the accounting part either so I keep getting bills from them. The representative told me that you should have the contact phone number to reach them but I will give it to you again along with the information on the account: Eversource Construction Dept. 888-633-3797 Eversource account number is 14336920039 address on the account is 4A S-Shore Drive, Bass River MA Please let me know when this is done. They are looking for confirmation and whether there is anything we could do to install electrical receptacles in the event space field that do not need to be elevated on bollards as we would not want something sticking up in the middle of the open field, although it may be possible around the edges. Thoughts and suggestions welcome. Hi Kathy I had to look back at some notes and need to qualify/correct myself as I had generalized elevations when we were talking. We used a few sources of data. 1. 2014 FEMA Study showing a 25 years storm at Elevation 5.88 with a wave crest of 7.17 NAVD88. Say 7.20. 2. Determined during the development of the stormwater design the 2% chance of annual flooding to be Elevation 7.50 1 3. Review of FEMA on-line mapping of probable hurricane severity and impacts: Determined the Category 1 Hurricane to be Elevation 7.50. In general we had decided to set the concrete pads on which the electrical enclosures are affixed (containing panel boards)generally at elevation 7.00 (note the 'grass infield' of the event space drops to elev. 6.15) My reference to Elevation 7.0 was in regard to the concrete pads. Code reference ...seasonal or storm driven flooding Applying 7.50 as the electrical datum plane, the panels/equipment inside the enclosures will need to be 2'0" above that elevation which is 9.50.Assuming panels that are 30" high the enclosures around the panels may be 5' to 6' high above the ground. The parking area acts as a dike, protecting the infield area until a storm tops it at elevation 7.50. So the Event Space 'infield' equipment is somewhat protected from flood water that do not reach 7.50. The challenge currently is that installing in-ground receptacles within the grassed areas of the Event Space at say at elevation 7.00 does not fully afford the 2'-0" desired 'freeboard' for electrical equipment. Note the site receptacles would be GFCI protected with breakers in the panel inside the Restroom mechanical Space As discussed an alternative approach is to install bollards that are 42" high and allow receptacles to be placed 2'-0" above elevation 7.50. Alternatively, this datum discussion can be re-visited of course. It was determined the 10%annual chance of flooding was Elevation 4.90 NAVD88 which perhaps could be considered. We can discuss in more detail this week. Thank You Arek Arek W. Mr. Elliott, I got the news from Nate concerning the inspection and understand the reason for the failure. I wanted to let you know about the sound system. The sound system does not have a shunt-trip breaker for the power, but has a sound shunting contact. This contact allows the fire alarm or other systems to override the local sound system at anytime this shunting contact is activated. Otherwise delete this email. Mr. Elliott, This is Don Foose of Annese Electric and we are working on the Dennis Yarmouth School project. We will starting the trenching for site lighting in the next week or so. One issue that we are running into is open trenches in areas that the public may have access to. The general contractor and the school would like us to trench and backfill in the same day. We would like to start trenching in the front of the property starting at Station Ave and working to the North along the eastern road. We would also like to work on the new road that is on the west side of the school administration building. The sequence of our work will be as follows: 1. The site contractor, Robert B. Our, will set the pole bases in their location. 2. Once a certain number of pole bases have been set, Robert Our will start to trench from pole base to pole base. 3. Annese will run out the site power, site lighting, and site security to its proper locations. 4. Inspection? 5. Shortly after installation and the inspection of the conduits is completed, backfilling and installing of warning tape will be done. The reason for the short time between the trenching and backfilling is for public safety. There We do not want to have any open trenches for an extended amount of time. I would like to discuss this with you at your convenience. I would like to review the areas we are planning to trench and the site electrical drawings to show you the work to be done. Please contact me at your earliest convenience so that we can discuss this. It would be best to meet you on site so that you can get a better idea of the areas we will be working. Mr. Elliott, We will be completing a large section of the secondary duct bank that leaves the transformer pad location and heads towards the main electrical room. I was hoping to get an inspection done for the duct bank, so that the site contractor can order concrete. The biggest issue we have now, is that we are not permitted to be on site before 7 am, and the general contractor is requiring all personnel to sign-in. You will also have to sign a set of drawings that are kept in the general contractors office trailer. I know that we will have to be folded into your daily inspection schedule, since we will not be able to meet early in the morning. I also know that the inspection might not occur that day, depending on your schedule. Please call me when you know the day, and the window of time that you will be conducting the inspection. apologize for any inconvenience. These areas include A — section, B — section and C — section. We will also need an exterior trench inspection for the temporary power. I was informed by Eversource on Thursday of this week that a work order was initiated for the temporary power. The work order number is: WO#6657295. I would also like to briefly go over my temporary power plan for the building. I will be sure to call you on Tuesday morning to setup and confirm the inspection.
