INGROUND LIFT NOTES:
1. GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER SHALL OBSERVE SUBGRADE SOILS BENEATH VEHICLE LIFT BEFORE CONCRETE IS POURED FOR THE LIFT.
2. CONCRETE MIX DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS:
A. MIN 28 DAY COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH = 4500 PSI
B. SLUMP = 4" ( MAYBE 6" WITH SUPERPLASTZCERS)
C. MAX WATER/CEMENT RATIO = 0.50
D. MAX AGG. SIZE - 314"
3. GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE TEMPORARY PLUGS OR CAPS FOR ALL SERVICE CONDUIT OPENINGS.
4. THE ELECTRICAL CONDUITS RUNNING BETWEEN THE LIFT AND CONTROL CONSOLE SHALL BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH LOCAL ELECTRICAL CODES. A MAXIMUM OF FOUR 90
DEGREE BENDS MAY BE USED.
5. THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE A FUSED ELECTRICAL DISCONNECT AND THE PLUMBING FSB SHALL PROVIDE AIR FILTER/REGULATOR/LUBRICATOR AND INSTALL THEM AT
THE CONTROL PANEL FOR INCOMING POWER AND AIR, COORDINATE INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS WITH VEHICLE LIFT MANUFACTURER.
6. INTRINSICALLY SAFE CONTROL WIRING MUST BE SEPARATED FROM NON -INTRINSICALLY SAFE WIRES BY A MINIMUM OF 2".
T. THE ABOVE DETAIL IS SCHEMATIC ONLY AND FINAL, POWER, AIR AND UNDERGROUND CONDUIT REQUIREMENTS SHALL BE VERIFIED AND INSTALLED PER THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
APPROVED VEHICLE LIFT SUBMITTAL AND LIFT MANUFACTURER. FINAL SIZE, QUANTITY AND CONFIGURATION OF CONDUITS SHALL BE APPROVED BY THE VEHICLE LIFT MANUFACTURER
PRIOR TO POURING THE SLAB.
8. VEHICLE LIFT MANUFACTURER SHALL CONFIRM THE MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM WHEELBASE REQUIREMENTS WITH THE OWNERS MECHANICS PRIOR TO PURCHASING EQUIPMENT. THE
OWNER SHALL HAVE THE OPTION TO CHOOSE BETWEEN THE 18FT, 21FT AND 24FT TRACK DIMENSIONS.
9. SEE STRUCTURAL DRAWINGS FOR THICKENED TOP AND BASE SLAB REQUIREMENTS. CONCRETE SLAB DETAILS TO BE VERIFIED BY MANUFACTURER.
10. VEHICLE LIFT INSTALLATION TO CONFORM TO APPROVED SHOP DRAWINGS IN COORDINATION WITH LIFT MANUFACTURER.
