RE: 32 Cocheset Path
The Yarmouth Health Office has received, reviewed, and approved engineered plans to
expand the existing septic system to a four (4) bedroom capacity at the above referenced
location.
This property is located within Zone II, a protected aquifer location, and is subject to
stringent and often limiting restrictions on building expansion.
This lot is unique in size for Zone II. Title 5 regulations define a "Buildable Lot" as over
40,OOOSF As such, 32 Cocheset Path is allowed 440 GPD (4 bedrooms) of septic capacity.
Please let me know if the Zoning Board requires any additional information.
For the purposes of 310 CMR 15.000, the following terms shall have the following meanings.
unless the context clearly requires otherwise. Terms expressed in the singular shall be construed
to incorporate the plural. and vice versa, unless the context otherwise requires.
1978 Code - Title 5 of the State Environmental Code. 310 CMR 15.000. as revised and in effect
as of 1978.

those specified in 310 CMR 15.100 through 15.255 and which are proposed to the Local
Approving Authority andlor the Department, or an agent authorized by the Department, for
remedial, pilot, provisional, or general use approval pursuant to 310 CMR 15.280 through
15-289.
Approved Ca acity The capacity of a 1978 Code system reflected by the sewage flow as shown
on the Disposal Works Construction Permit Application or as shown on the Certificate of
Compliance, whichever is less for that system and not the calculated capacity based on 1978
Code loading rates which may account for overdesign or safety factors. For a system designed
