To Whom It May Concern,
As stated, in my letter dated August 30, 2023, all of the issues outlined will need to be addressed
and corrected as noted.
The main issues of correcting damaged or improperly installed wiring and/or equipment is the first
priority. The location of the electrical panel will need to be relocated due to the issue of restrictive
clearances surrounding the distribution panel. The panel capacity should also be increased due to
the tie-in of the corrected wiring circuits in the house.
My reference as to the installation of smoke detectors and CO detectors is only a strong
recommendation on my part and not a requirement at this time.

t pon the request of%our electrical contractor. I met with him today to review the damage
caused by the flooding within sour home at the subject location.
The wiring in the area of the basement 8%ill has v to he brought up to code and depending on
the type of ceiling that will be installed. may require the relocation of se eral wires and
fixtures. The basement bathroom will also require proper lighting, a receptacle, and an
ethaust fan to he installed.
within the first-floor kitchen area the sheet rock ss ill have to he partially removed wiring
tested and additional devices installed and appliance wiring as required In Massachusetts
Electrical Code 527 ('MR 12.00.
I would also like to suggest that y ou strongly consider the installation of smoke detectors and
combination smoke & CO detectors throughout the house. Based on the age of the house and
the amount of personal propertv within it could save a loss by fire or potential injury to
anyone staying at the property.
