Re:SE83-2405 and Failure to Secure our Undermined Retaining Wall
Dear Mr. Hoopes,
Please be advised that the Nortons appear to have constructed all walls on the
Approved Down Cape Engineering plan for SE-2405 revised to Nov.30,2023,
except the wall designed by Down Cape to secure our undermined retaining wall.
This inaction,on their part appears intentional,as the contractor told me he had a
copy of Down Cape's plan and the proposed wall was staked by Down Cape on
the ground. There appears to be no plan to construct this wall in the future as the
staging area used to hold stone,blocks and equipment has been loamed and
seeded.
Our retaining wall is both undermined and unsecured by the Norton's inaction.
We are concerned that a heavy rain,such as we get during hurricane season,
could blow out our unsecured wall.
Any action the Commission could take to secure our wall is appreciated.
