Remarks: 10:00 am-10:30 am 76 degrees partly sunny
The following was observed(Action items are noted in bold italics):
-Reinforcing steel placement for the perimeter walls and piers for the right half of the building was in progress and
approximately 80%(the rear and side walls were 100%). •
-The vertical steel for the walls consisted of#5s spaced at 18"on center tied to the footing dowels.The horizontal
steel consisted of#4s spaced at 18"on center.Corner bars were observed at changes in wall direction and lap
lengths met or exceeded the required minimum.
-The vertical steel for the column piers matched the dowels which extended out from the footing.The horizontal
steel consisted of#3 ties(4 located with the top and bottom 12"of the pier and#3s at 12"on center elsewhere).
-Anchor bolt templates were in place for the right side wall as well as portion of the rear wall. In addition, the
anchor bolts were onsite and matched the requirements of the design drawings.
-No deviations or omissions were observed.
-A concrete pour is scheduled for Tuesday morning.
