Being that you only need to see the outlets and stuff, do you think that I can go ahead with my insulation because I have a spray foam insulation that's going into the walls? Expandable spray foam instead of fiberglass bats. So I was tending to. I had them tentatively coming out this week, but if really all you need to see are the outlets, want to say I can go ahead and get those guys started. Mr. Elliott, I'm not sure what's going on here. When you were at my house last, this is Mike Parsons on McNamara. When you were at my house last, I made it crystal clear as to what I needed to do, and I've done that. And now you've come out here and you failed me again. You're nitpicking because I'm not a licensed contractor and I'm filing a complaint with the building department. This is fucking bullshit. Pardon my French, but you're set because I left you a voicemail. You're upset I'm not a licensed contractor, and you're nitpicking. I have electricians who deal with you on a regular basis and they say you are a nitpicker. You make them do things that aren't up to code, that there's just stuff that you require on your own personal basis. And I made sure, like I said, that this was perfectly set up the way you wanted to. And now you failed me again. I'm filing a complaint. I'm not happy with how you do things. You are a nitpicker and you're punishing me because I'm not licensed contractor and you're punishing my in laws. They can't move in, they have no place to live and you're pushing me around because of some stupid wires. They aren't even connected to anything yet. I don't know what the problem is. Good Afternoon, I reside at 57 Mcnamara rd and am finishing off the basement for my in laws to live in.Mr Elliot has made it known to me that he doesn't like when homeowners do electrical themselves and because I am allowed to I have had two licensed electricians helping me. The first time he was out the electricians had the wiring rolled up and tucked into the boxes.Ken didn't like that.He wanted them out,stripped and spliced.He failed us the first time.Ok fine.We stripped and spliced the wires as he asked,which makes no sense to me or the electricians because they've never had to do this before.They strip and splice when adding the recepticles. I made sure the second time we had them good to go and he failed us again because we had two that didn't have any wires going to them.We were not sure of the placement or if they were even going to be there.Ok fine.I made sure before he left,I made him explain to me exactly what he's asking for and we did it. Today he comes out and fails us again because the electrical wasn't there and the wires are now too long.We are going to cut those shorter when we go to install the recepticles. <image001.jpg> <image002.jpg> <image003.jpg> I have left him a few voicemails with questions and he never returns my call.My electrician is a family member that deals with him at his job and he doesn't like him because of the personal things he wants done at the job sites that have nothing to do with the actual work,it's just something that he wanted them to do.They've had to go above him to get things approved.So he doesn't want to get involved and have it affect his day job. I have had to put off the insulation guys twice,the floor guys once,the AC guys twice,all because Ken wants to be difficult. The pictures of the boxes I have attached are exactly how he said to do them.Now he wants them spliced together as if they are hooked up to receptacles.I'm no electrician but I'm not splicing the black to the white.I have no idea what he is talking about,nor do two licensed electricians who said"good luck"when they found out he was the inspector. I have two senior adults with no place to live and a project that has been on hold for a month or so because of Ken. We feel he is being extra difficult because he wants to meet the electricians and he doesn't need to.I am the homeowner,he deals with me. Can you please explain what is wrong?This is a rough inspection.I made sure I knew exactly what he wanted and 2 we did.it.Yet he stills keeps failing us, at 80.00 a whack.
