TOWN OF YARMOUTH BOARD OF APPEALS Appeal No. 1517 Septemberr28? 1970 Donald Henderson, Robert Sherman, David Oman, Herbert Renkainen, The Chairman called the meeting to order and read the petition. All abutters were notified and the necessary correspondence was made in the Cape Cod Times and the Dennis —Yarmouth Register. Miss Petrillo: The reason for this is to form a Crafts Association in the town. We want to make the people aware of us. It is a Highway Commercial area, no problem of traffic. We have drawn up a plan for the parking, only 30 deal:brsmattthe most, 101 per booth. The parking will be no different than in the summer for the rest— aurant. It is off—season. It will be across the street from the restaurant. Mr.Henderson: Correspondence — Mr. & Mrs. Aldo Petrillo, in favor, Ray Kolowsky, in favor, Capt. Gladcliff Motel, opposed, all by letter. Miss Petrillo: We will have it all cleaned out of debris, so no problem with that. There will be some litter but it won't bother anyone. -Mr. Wensley: What about signs? Miss Petrillo: We will just put up one main sign saying it is a crafts fair. Mr. Wensley: You have to apply for a permit for a sign. Mr. Onian: What about sanitary facilities? Miss Petrillo: I hadn't thought about that. We can probably rent the portable ones. Mr. Oman: I don't know if that is allowed. Miss Petrillo: There is also a possibility of the restaurant across the street. It is closed but we could probably use the facilities over there. My house ig on the property. It would not be for the public but for the crafts people — it would be open for them. There are 2 buildings on the property, one on the adjoining one that can also be used. Mr. Johnson: You won't be parking across the street so you won't have someone walking across the street... Miss Petrillo: No. Mr. Sherman: How much frontage? Miss Petrillo: There are 2 lots — it is the parking lot for the restaurant. Mr. Oman: It shows 105' +, just the empty lot.
