Electronic copies of all documents will be emailed to the conservation office and DEP SERO. The following items are enclosed: Revised Plan entitled “Plan Showing Proposed Dock and Revetment Reconstruction”, by Shorefront Consulting and Down Cape Engineering, dated 12/17/22, REVISED 8/6/24, REVISED 9/9/24. The plan has been revised to remove the proposed pervious walkway. The mitigation was revised to reflect the reduction in the proposed footprint, and increased from 2:1 to 3:1. The original mitigation for the revetment was for an 8’ buffer strip along the revetment, which amounted to approximately 975 square feet. The proposed patio addition is 240 square feet. The patio requires 3:1 mitigation, or 720 square feet. Therefore, the mitigation requirements total 1,695 square feet. The mitigation area landward of the revetment is increased to 10 feet wide instead of 8 feet, and two additional triangled areas on each side have been added to accommodate the required mitigation area. The mitigation table on the plan was revised to reflect existing and proposed structures in the 0-35 and 50-100 ft. buffer zones. The planting totals were not adjusted on the plan (oversight) and still reflect 1,866 square feet. However, the planting list can be reduced so the totals become 1,705 square feet. A revised table is below which can be part of the final order of conditions. Refer to the attached plan for locations and areas. PLANT LIST (800± sq. ft.)
