Hi Jay,
A Notice of Intent application including a surveyed site plan showing the existing and proposed conditions is
required for installing a new septic system within the riverfront area and buffer zone to a wetland resource. This is
reviewed at a public hearing and voted on by the conservation commission. Aseptic system in this area would
require a variance to the 50 foot setback from the resource area. If an Order of Conditions with this variance is
then issued, there is a 10-day appeal period. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Brittany,
The Health office has filed a complaint in Plymouth Housing Court against the owners of the cranberry bog (16
Denver Dr.) for an illegal septic system.
Additionally, the Building Division has separate complaints against the property owners as well.
In preparation of our February court date, please outline the process the Conservation Commission requires to
approve this system in a protected area.
What applications, hearings, variances, plans, or approvals are required?
