Inside the enclosure there is no pool equipment plumbing that could potentially leak. Muriatic acid was stored next to dry pool chemicals, but during the inspection staff placed it inside a plastic bucket that serves as secondary containment. The plastic bucket previously held dry pool chemicals, but staff stated the bucket was free of any powder residue. LAUNDRY AREA-5-gallon pails of commercial laundry products are on automatic feed. HOUSEKEEPING STORAGE-ready-to-use products are stored on shelves-no cleaner dilution mixing station. PAINT BRUSHES-All used paint brushes are wrapped and thrown out. No brushes are cleaned. A variety of colors and finishes are stored for touch-up work. SHED-several containers of gasoline are stored. DUMPSTER AREA-OK. Receptacles that could collect water are stored upside down. OUTSIDE-no materials outside. SAFETY DATA SHEETS (SDS) - SDS for the commercial laundry products were in plastic packets attached to some of the containers. It is recommended that SDS for all of the pool chemicals, laundry products and housekeeping cleaners be obtained and stored in a folder or binder in a central location where they are available to all employees at all times. SDS are sometimes available in languages other than English.
