EXPIRED ON JUNE 30
POOL ENCLOSURE-Weatherproof plastic enclosure. Inside the enclosure there
is no pool equipment plumbing that could potentially leak. Muriatic acid was
stored next to dry pool chemicals, but during the inspection staff placed it
inside a plastic bucket that serves as secondary containment. The plastic
bucket previously held dry pool chemicals, but staff stated the bucket was free
of any powder residue.
LAUNDRY AREA-5-gallon pails of commercial laundry products are on
automatic feed.
HOUSEKEEPING STORAGE-ready-to-use products are stored on shelves-no
cleaner dilution mixing station.
PAINT BRUSHES-All used paint brushes are wrapped and thrown out. No
brushes are cleaned. A variety of colors and finishes are stored for touch-up
work.
SHED-several containers of gasoline are stored.
DUMPSTER AREA-OK. Receptacles that could collect water are stored upside
down.
OUTSIDE-no materials outside.
SAFETY DATA SHEETS (SDS) - SDS for the commercial laundry products were
in plastic packets attached to some of the containers. It is recommended that
SDS for all of the pool chemicals, laundry products and housekeeping cleaners
be obtained and stored in a folder or binder in a central location where they are
available to all employees at all times. SDS are sometimes available in
languages other than English.
