MAINTENANCE CORRAL-Liquid chlorine stored behind fence, on asphalt
surface and under roof, protected from weather. Latex paints are present, but
no longer no longer used. They will be dried out and disposed in trash.
POOL CLOSET-OK-only one container of dry material.
POOL FILTER ROOM-two 5-gallon containers of liquid chlorine on concrete
floor-no other materials-
JACUZZI ROOM-not accessible-newly delivered pool heater blocking
POOL BUNKER-only liquid chlorine
HOUSEKEEPING OFFICE-Stock of cleaner spray bottles with labeling.
Housekeeping cleaner mixing stations have all been removed.
KITCHEN CLEANER MIXING STATION-one mixing station with ASSE 1055B
manufacturer’s plate for backflow prevention.
PAINT ROOM "D"-Paints are in use. Formerly used institutional cleaners should
be properly disposed, for example, at a hazardous waste collection.
SAFETY DATA SHEETS (SDS)-some are on file. Some outdated MATERIAL
SAFETY DATA SHEETS (MSDS) are also still on file. This format is no longer
allowed. Obtain new format SAFETY DATA SHEETS (SDS) for all materials that
do not presently have them. Make SDS available to all employees who handle
the materials. Archive and retain the MSDS.
DUMPSTER AREA-PAINTS MUST BE STORED INSIDE UNTIL THEY ARE
PROPERLY DISPOSED. MATTRESSES MUST BE STORED OUT OF THE
WEATHER UNTIL THEY ARE PROPERLY DISPOSED. In the future don’t store
old mattresses outside-store them inside so they don’t get rain-soaked.
OUTSIDE-Mattresses and paints must be stored out of weather until proper
disposal. See above.
GARDEN SHED-Small storage of gasoline and herbicides.
PAINT BRUSHES-Unknown how they are presently cleaned. Wash them in a
bucket with minimal water and absorb the water by pouring into trash. Do not
wash paint onto ground or in sinks.
