The leaching field for both the westerly system #1 and the northeasterly system #2 will also remain unchanged while adding some tanks and pumps to the existing septic layout. The current motel with its 69 units has an approximate daily occupancy of 276 (4) per unit and as the motel guests are park patrons it is expected that 50% will use the motel room facilities as opposed to the interior park facilities. (138 Park patrons.) On the two existing systems #1 & #2 the total flow is 8,930 GPD. Based on 5 gpd per park patron that would allow 1,786 occupants. Having 138 park patrons from the motel units and 1.786 park patrons as guests then the total occupancy would be 1,924 maximum park occupancy per day. Furthermore, the septic flow associated with the former Fred's Turkey House, Donut shop and Movie theatre have all been removed from use. Very trul yours ieran . Hi Bruce, Phil, I have listed the backwash filter volumes for each pool below. In summary, here is what I did. The wavepool backwashes 615 gallons. So we are proposing a 600 gallon drywell for this. The Kid's Pool, FlowRider & Bar Pool combined backwash 521 gallons at varying frequencies (see below). Therefore, we conservatively designed a 600 gallon drywell for these 3 filters combined. This information is not shown on the BSC plans because the filters and piping are located inside the building. Let me know ASAP if you have any further concerns. Please let us know as soon as Aquatic Design Group can come in for their permit(s).
