Re: Notice of Intent —Proposed Renovations and Flood Mitigation
50 Powers Lane, Yarmouth

Dear Members of the Commission:
At the request of Matt Snoap, the Architect for this proposed project, Strong Tree Engineering (STE) would
like to inform the Yarmouth Conservation Commission of two additional points as related to the NOI filing
dropped off yesterday for the 50 Powers Lane project.
1. On Page 5 of the Project Narrative, the proposed work includes "installation of handicap access
ramps and stairs at the east and west sides" To clarify, a handicap access ramp is proposed only on
the west side. Stairs are proposed on both the west and east sides of the dwelling.
2. Mr. Snoap has clarified that, as part of the proposed work, the existing foundation will not be
removed. Rather, the height of the existing foundation will be extended through the addition of
cast in place concrete and/or concrete masonry blocks.
